31% chance of rain

Don’t Trust the Weatherperson - In Battle Lake, Minnesota we basically get our weather forecasts from Fargo/Moorhead.  Forecasts cover the large listening/viewership area of the region which can cover 200-300 miles.  As a result when we get a forecast of say 40% chance or rain showers you have to understand that the 40% means for the entire area.  I will also state the obvious and say that there is a 60% chance of no rain.  While I hope you enjoy this post please remember this is our first bog posting and I guarantee they will get better.
